Sodium Citrate

Offered in white crystalline powder form, food grade Sodium Citrate is used as suitable acidity regulator. Available in highly pure form, this chemical tends to convert from powder to liquid when exposed to moist air. Sodium Citrate does not dilute in C2H5OH. Its taste resembles to the sour taste of citric acid. This chemical is used as suitable ph controller for edible items and beverages. In health care arena, it is used as one of the main ingredients of oral rehydration solution by WHO.
